What is Science? and Its Branches — Free written notes for Natural Science on EduFlame Pakistan.
Science is a systematic and organized way of gaining knowledge about the natural world through observation, experimentation, and logical reasoning. The word "science" comes from the Latin word scientia, meaning knowledge. Science does not simply collect facts it seeks to explain why things happen the way they do. Science is self-correcting: if new evidence contradicts an old idea, the idea is revised or replaced. This is what makes science different from belief or opinion.
